St. Vincent De Paul (North Fawkner and Fawkner Conference)
The society extends its time and aide to the wider community where neither creed, culture or any other point of difference mitigate their response. This response takes the form of personal, one-on-one contact in the home environment of the needy, which is a practice particular to the society of St. Vincent de Paul.
The society is not self-sufficient, and being volunteer based, it draws on the wider parish community for spiritual and financial assistance, as well as a source of ongoing membership.
Our local conference looks after the needy within the borders of the parishes of St. Mark’s and St. Matthew’s – the entirety of Fawkner and Campbellfield.
